Yabulu Solar and BESS

Overview

Yabulu is a utility-scale 101 MW solar farm co-located with a 100 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), grid-connected through the Yabulu South Terminal Station in Townsville, Queensland. CleanGen secured the site and progressed the project through its early development phase before it was acquired by ACE Power in 2021 and subsequently sold to Tag Energy.

CleanGen acknowledges the Wulgurukaba people as the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which this project stands and respects their enduring connection to this land.
