Narrabri Solar & BESS

Overview

The Narrabri Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is a 140 MW solar and 100 MW / up to 800 MWh utility-scale project located in Narrabri, New South Wales. Pairing large-scale solar generation with battery storage, the project is designed to deliver clean, reliable power to the grid and support New South Wales' transition to a more sustainable energy future.

Located in the productive agricultural heartland of North West New South Wales, Narrabri offers excellent solar resources and strong grid connectivity, making it an ideal location for a project of this scale and ambition. The project continues to be developed under the ACE Power and Osaka Gas joint venture, now operating under Tag Energy.
